School Bell
Church Open for Primary School Mums and Carers
Every Thursday afternoon during term time St Andrew's church in Earls Colne is open from 2.30 pm to 3 pm offering refreshments and the opportunity for carers collecting children from the school to sit and chat and for younger children to enjoy the space in the church.

Helpers who can spare that half hour would be very much appreciated. Please contact Hugh Mothersole on 01787 222211

Prayers and Bears
At Prayers and Bears, we offer pre-school age children and their carers fun and fellowship. We meet once a month for an hour at St. Andrew’s Church - we tell a story, sing songs and say prayers, and then have refreshments.

New ‘Bears’ are always welcome – please contact Rayner McKenzie on 01787 224867 for further information.

Little Doves Sunday School
The Little Doves Sunday School can be found every week running in the Tower Room of St Andrew's Earls Colne. As well as their usual quiet activites whilst the service is running, this group also join in the hymns often with percussion and those who want to can be included in short drama performances which are performed at our Christian festival services. Visitors are welcome and there is no commitment!

The Sunday School is managed by Catherine and Louisa Hayes who can be contacted on 01787 222588

Edward Bear Club
(Cradle Roll)
For parents, grandparents and carers with babies and children under 5 years of age.
We warmly welcome you to come along to our Edward Bear Club - there is a short pram service (action songs and prayers, a story, and craft activities for the little ones) followed by refreshments and plenty of time for Mums, Grandmothers and carers to chat and make new friends.

We are a very informal and friendly group and many of the children who come along will or have been baptized at St Catherine’s Church and the meetings provide a link between baptism and the church and Starbursts. Every child receives a Birthday Card until they reach their fifth birthday and also a visit from the Travelling Stable at Christmas

Come along with Teddy!
